E
ver since the massive Nationals Park
Major League Baseball stadium arrived on the
Anacostia waterfront back in 2008, the Southeast
neighborhood along the river has been blossoming.
These days, there’s plenty to see and do here,
starting with taking in a Washington Nationals
baseball game at the stadium (they play from April
to September) and moving on to museum visits,
brewery stops, fine dining and perhaps a kayak trip
on river or even a chance to learn to fly on a trapeze.
