contest. The big leaguers come to town
on Monday, first with the All-Star Workout
Day then warming up to the T-Mobile
Home Run Derby, which has evolved into
the most beloved part of All-Star weekend
and is now one of the most-watched
events on ESPN. It features a field of
four American League players and four
National League players, with the current
record holder being Yankees’ Giancarlo
Stanton, who finished with a total of 61
home runs in 2016.

Of course, the main event of the week —
and the whole baseball season — is the
89th Annual All-Star game. Don’t worry,
if you can’t make it to Nationals Park in
person for it, the game will be broadcast
live on Fox.
