While fellow Tennessee cities, Nashville and Memphis, get national buzz with their
bustling music scenes, Chattanooga has plenty of delights to offer any traveler,
especially families. Chattanooga provides a quieter pace of life than its musical
sisters along with all the southern hospitality the state Tennessee is known for.
Surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains and the Cumberland Plateau, it is easy
to see why Chattanooga is dubbed the “Scenic City.” It has also claimed to have the
fastest internet in the Western hemisphere, which would please any millennial visitor.
