little magic, and it is entirely nonfiction. I am profoundly lucky to have experienced this story as part of my journey, and even luckier to know the people who populate it. I work in the field of Arts education, and my

academic writing has been published in The International Journal of Critical Pedagogy and in The Proceedings of The 3rd European Conference on Social Media.

Sage Schneider is a psychology major with a writing certificate at ASU. She lives in Arizona.

Madeline Stevens is a graduate student in political science, focusing on political violence. She recently graduated with an MA in social science from the University of Chicago.
