Historic Florida Militia, Inc. is a group of living history
interpreters who provide education to the public, through
reenactments and presentations. Their groups include
The Men of Menendez (1565), Drake’s Men (1586), Searle’s
Buccaneers (1668), and the St. Augustine Garrison (1740).
Re-enactments include Searle’s Sack of St. Augustine and
Drake’s Raid. Presentations include Colonial Night Watch,
Timeline Saunters and Changing of the Guard. For dates and

and Colonial Night Watch. All of their re-enactments and
