May 19 Music in the Park Featuring Chillula Anastasia State Park is hosting a concert series in partnership with Island Beach Grill. Each concert will begin with an open jam session from 5-6 p.m. Guests and local musicians will be welcomed to the stage to showcase their talents. Each month will feature a different local musician or band for a two- hour show at the beach pavilion, and this month’s performance is by Chillula. Concerts are from 6-8 p.m. Concerts are free with paid park admission, which ranges from $8-$2. This commemorative event coincides with our nation’s Memorial Day holiday, remembering the people who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States’ Armed Forces.
