Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Breakfast
and Remembrance March
This event is hosted by the Dr. Martin Luther King Celebration
Committee of St. Johns County and begins with a commemorative
breakfast at the Mark Lance National Guard Armory starting at
7:30 a.m. The breakfast cost is $30. The silent march begins at
noon and ends at the Plaza de la Constitución, where there will be
a guest speaker and presentation. The theme of the speaker’s
presentation is “out of the mountain of despair, a stone of hope.”

Let’s Talk Turtle
Discover the wonderful sea turtles of Anastasia State Park from
10-11 a.m. Learn how to identify the turtle nests, hatching and the
great journey they begin after leaving the beach and the dangers they
encounter in our oceans. The program takes place at the Sea Turtle
Pavilion near the Island Beach Grill. The program is free with regular
