DECEMBER December 2-3 Rails to Trails Festival Hosted by SEA (Spuds/Elkton/Armstrong) Community Help Resource Center, this festival at Armstrong Park is a celebration of our Gullah Geechee heritage and features cultural arts and crafts, food vendors, historical films, heritage corridor discussions, live music and a bike ride. The free event is scheduled for noon-7 p.m. on Saturday and noon-6 p.m. on Sunday. This family friendly performance features many dance styles, characters and holiday scenes. Performances are at 7 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday at Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College. The race consists of a 50K and 12K. The 50K individual and team races begin at 8 a.m. The 12K race begins at 1 p.m. The race route is a winding loop throughout the park. This year’s theme is Christmas during the Flagler Era. The tour takes participants along an enjoyable walk through downtown St. Augustine to visit six private homes dating from the 1800s. The event is from noon-5 p.m. Tickets are $30 per ticket and advanced purchase is required.
