Rails to Trails Festival
This festival at Armstrong Park features historical booths containing
Gullah Geechee artifacts and displays, Gullah home cooking, a bike
tour along the Rails to Trails bike and walking trail and historical
signs pointing out the rich culture of the area. This free event is
scheduled for noon-7 p.m. on Saturday and noon-6 p.m. on Sunday.

ISACO Native American Festival
ISACO is the Second Annual Native Festival and Gathering at the
Fountain of Youth Park, honoring the Timucua and all Southeastern
people by sharing culture, history and life-ways in a respectful
manner with the general public. Demonstrating vendors will offer
handmade arts and crafts for every budget; men and women’s
traditional Pow Wow dancing; Traditional Southeastern Social
Stomp Dance exhibition at dusk; storytelling by native historical and
contemporary interpreters sharing culture from both east and west
of the Mississippi. This event will be held in the recreated Timucuan
village of Seloy, on the site of the ancient village of the same name
from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Please call to volunteer, contribute or for more

Palm Frond Weaving Class at St. Augustine Lighthouse
and Maritime Museum
Pam Solano, who has perfected the art of palm frond weaving, will
teach the basics of this traditional folk art popular in Florida during
two sessions. The program is from 10 a.m. to noon on two days.
The cost to participate is $50, plus $30 for materials.

The Garden Club of St. Augustine Christmas Tour of Homes
Walk back in time and experience the charm, warmth and grandeur
of the holiday season in the nation’s oldest city, as the Garden
Club of St. Augustine celebrates its 90th Anniversary. The Garden
Club invites you to take a walking tour of six private homes dating
from the 1800s in historic downtown St. Augustine. The tour is from
noon-5 p.m. Tickets are $25, and include Afternoon Tea and a visit
to the Boutique, which features delicious homemade treats, at the
