Upon arrival at Fort Matanzas, visitors will step back in time and meet the men who kept watch to defend the southern approach to St. Augustine. Each tour will include an 18th century cannon firing demonstration. Tours depart at 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for youth ages 15 and under. On Saturday there will be a 10K run; a family 5K run and the St. Augustine’s kid’s race. On Sunday the St. Augustine Half Marathon begins. The events expo is located at Francis Field where each race starts and ends. Registration costs are: half marathon $80 before June 30 and $100 after June 30; 10K $40 before June 30 and $50 after June 30; 5K $25 before June 30; $30 after June 30; kids race $15. W.
