Kevin shares important tips for action photography , including crucial awareness of lighting to maximize your success . Topics covered include : handheld versus tripods ; proper exposure / camera settings for various conditions ; subject acquisition ; tracking and synchronous panning ; manual exposure for quick light compensation ; balancing white and dark subjects ; artistic exposures and creative lighting . Each topic is explained with photos providing visual examples , often with camera settings . Knowledge of your camera is required .
