Inclusion also in the facts: means also the
important role NGOs have in promoting
through their activities a culture of peace
and mutual respect and cooperation
between the young and less young
generations.
Last important thing: NGOs in Europe
have a great role also in developing new
methods of cooperation, and ways to work
united and share learnings and methods:
that is a fundamental part of education and
in the learning process because it is a real
cooperative learning on my opinion.

How do you empower youngsters to be
active in society?
It’s a process. And the result can be reached
through many different actions. Sometimes
we are so lucky to follow the progress of
some youngsters since they were 11 years
old till 20 or more and we can realize the
impact of our actions and support.
We empower youngsters mainly setting up
a free and stimulating learning environment,
where they can perceive that they are
free to decide about their learnings and
get interactive pleasant inputs (games, TB
games, activities, videos, small workshops,
international activities, camps, meetings,..)
and answer with proposals to these inputs.
We use a lot irony, cooperation games and
activities for self-discover and assess their
skills.
Mobility activities like Youth Exchanges,
Training Courses and EVS then have an
added value in this process, we can say that
they are so powerful experiences that really
can change and improve the life of some
youngsters, and in any case, have a great
impact on their self-efficacy perception.
