So what is to be a trainer
in non-formal education?
I think it's a very sexy work and over the
last years I have increasingly been asked
by participants in international courses,
how can I become a trainer, and then
I think what a trainer is. I think a trainer
is someone who creates conditions or
environments for people to learn, to have
competences to use and to highlight the
non- formal learning of people on the topic
that needs to be approached, whatever the
topic is. Non-formal education can lead to
non-formal learning and I think the job as
a trainer or non-formal educator is exactly
making the transfers from the objectives
to the effect.
Do you imagine that formal education
with non-formal education can be
complemented with each other,
recognising each other’s work?
These are two questions, I think the first
question if they both need each other,
I think they are absolutely complementary.
A lot of schools dropout has to do how the
formal education is organised, because it
doesn't meet the needs of the learner, it is
a format and you fit or you ۸
