INSURANCE VERIFICATION FORM FOR TIME SPENT ON THE PHONE Over the years, some insurance hassles come and go in waves. In the past several months, GLMS has been notified of practices experiencing an increase in hold times with Anthem. Connie Leffler, GLMS Anthem IIRC LCKMGMA representative, created a form to track these hold times so we can report back to Anthem with more concrete data to aid in identifying and correcting the source of the recent surge in issues. The form is located on our website at www.glms.org under the “Manage My Practice” tab. Once there, click “Payer Updates” tab, and then select “Anthem.” If your practice would like to participate, track your calls to Anthem for 30 days, then return completed forms to [email protected].
