APPLE & GINGER

Puree (v)

9-10 mins | Makes 10 ice-cubes

Ingredients

2 sweet Gala apples (or any other sweet variety) – washed, peeled, cored, cubed

¼ tsp minced ginger

Method

Place the apples, 4 tablespoons of water and ginger in a saucepan and stir. Simmer (covered) on low heat for 6–8 minutes until the apples are tender.

Pop into a food processor (or use a handheld blender) and blend until super smooth, adding extra cooled boiled water to thin the puree if necessary.
