that this question of color in the parentage of a Mixed character is discussed at the castings.

In Natural Selection you seem to play the card of destiny thoroughly. A very strong theme that often comes back in the Afro social universe, where fatalism is often accepted. Is fatalism not a sign of weakness? Is the humility of accepting fatality a force? To fight what seems inevitable would be vainess? Or as the ancients said: reading the message of fate is more important. In your opinion, what to do when facing the inevitability?

(laughs) The card of destiny? Are you sure we're talking about the same movie? Because then not at all! Because for my part I do not believe in destiny and even less in fatalism. For me these two notions refer to the determinism to which I do not lend any credit. Without wanting to disrespect the Ancients, for me there is no inevitability. We all have the potential to choose our future, to write our story, to change the course of things. Certainly, there may be particularly difficult socio-politico-economic contexts that make the task more difficult, but I sincerely believe in the potential of everyone to develop and help develop their environment. It all depends on the way we face the trials we encounter, no matter how terrible they are ... There is no pride in fighting what seems right to us. Nothing is inevitable except death. Everything in life is impermanence ...

If you had to say what is the message you want to send with Natural Selection, what would it be?

It is very difficult to talk about this film of 2min45 without the spoiler. Let's say that my objective with Natural Selection is to awaken the spirits on an unknown subject of history. It's a little story that refers to the Great History. The idea is to create debate and warn against the excesses that our society can take, including the endangerment of humanity. But I already said too much!

At the end of this interview what is the agenda of the film Natural Selection? and do you have an appointment to give to the public for one of your projects?

The film Sélection Naturelle is in competition, it was screened on August 18 in Hollywood as part of the Haitian International Film Festival and in early October it will be competing at Paris’s Blkréation films festival. It has been submitted to a dozen festivals around the world.

But above all, a new script is being written to make Natural Selection a medium or feature film to deepen the subject it denounces. We are looking for a production to carry out this project to which I wish to give a larger scale. Word up ... ;-)

As for my news, I'm also writing a docu-drama that I want to shoot in Haiti, and I plan a return on stage with a play that I wrote, in preamble of another play of the Haitian author Jean Métellus.

Finally, in a few months, Renaud Bertrand's "Illegitime" a TV movie will be broadcasted on France 2, in which I have a role alongside Rachida Brakni ...

The profession of actress being by definition a moving one, means everything can move overnight according to meetings and castings and I like to lead several things head on, always thoroughly and with professionalism.

So many projects yes, but also a great availability and mobility; I am more and more interested in working with projects in Africa, the Caribbean and even the United States. I remain always open to proposals, exchanges and the creation of opportunities because I do not believe in chance but more in the wealth of meetings and action, staying true to my motto that we have no limits that we ask ourselves!
