film and her career as an actress.

Hello Cynthia, Flashmag by my voice welcomes you, it's a real pleasure to have you this month as featured guest on our topflash page.

So, the 7 art why you choose it? Was it a logical outcome as we said in our introductory remarks or something else? Did you dream of being an actress younger?

Cynthia Saint-Fleur: In fact, younger I dreamed especially to be a dancer, practice that I started at the age of 3 . At first classical dancer. My dream was relatively broken when I was refused entry to the conservatory at 6 with the motive "too curvy"! So, I followed my dance training through various schools and courses, classical dance, then jazz and finally hip hop with pioneers internationally renowned. It was not until middle school, by integrating a class with the theater option that the desire was felt. I was then part of a workshop throughout my high school and then a few years later while I was in college, I came across an announcement from a National Drama Center that was looking for a Black actress. I applied, I had the role and I found myself for several months under the conditions of a theatrical creation in residence. The revelation ! The following year, I entered the conservatory ...

So, I first fed on theater but my taste for cinema, the jobs that I could always practice in connection with this environment, my higher education among others in the arts (because I also studied foreign languages and law) have made me always have a foothold in the cinema. It was finally by going to castings that I got close to the television .... Then the cinema came to me, having been approached by several directors.
