Körinn "Traversée" "Crossing"

A journey in natural sounds

When Körinn talks about her very first opus Traversée that means crossing in French, she says: "As well as the water travels the earth, the light travels the sky, the sound furrows the space; "Traversée" is a poetic vision inspired by the singular path of life. Traversée was born from the meeting with the pianist and arranger Ruddy Boa who was surprised to work with Körinn the artistic meeting gave an eclectic product whose sounds are drawn in the background of the singer Körinn who knows very well the music scene. The native of Guadeloupe began writing music when she was only 13 years old, she then learned lyric and modern jazz at the Armand Siobud School of Music directed at that time by her cousin Marc Rovelas. The passion of the music will remain latent while she will take some time off to study modern literature, to finally obtain a master of Communication in Policies of the City and leisure in Paris. Returning fully to music after her university studies, Körinn will take some drama lessons at the Reine Blanche, a reputed drama school in France, which will be useful in her scenic stance. From 2010, Körinn will be noted in the underground music circles of Paris with singles such as Ou Fò or Limiè which translated the depth, and the plurality of her artistic genius with vocals in Creole language that proves her attachment to her terroir.
