Acknowledgments The success of Fitzroy Learning Network is the result of committed effort by individuals and teams , often giving over and above the call of duty .
To all our volunteers we , as a Board and staff , join together to thank you for your service and encourage you to accompany us on the journey ahead . Also , to all the NAB volunteers who choose to spend their annual volunteer activity with FLN , we totally appreciate and thank you for your support .
To all our staff , as a Board , we wish to acknowledge the remarkable way you have shouldered the challenges and responsibilities throughout the year to provide quality services and programs to our community . We thank you all , but in particular we wish to highlight the work of our education team , ably led by Kathryn Williamson , in delivering great outcomes in challenging circumstances .
Claire Taylor , Nemo Cahill , Tania Stone , Rouba Al Masri , Nicole Adornetto , Enzo D ’ agostino , Kim Bessant and Ronnie Elazary , as well as our relief teachers who often fill-in at very short notice when our regular teachers are sick — thank you for supporting our programs . We particularly thank Pina De Pierro , Jeanette Kairouz and Matt Noonan for their resourcefulness and responsiveness .
We ’ d also like to acknowledge the new teaching staff who have joined FLN — Jenny Robins , Kathryn Janka , Cathy Sailah , Shane Bell and Sophie Lamont . We ’ re looking forward to working with you in the future .
We know that the support all our programs receive from our administrative team , Maria and Astrid , is invaluable and we wish to highlight the importance of our ever resourceful and skilled administration staff . And , not to forget Eugenia Mezquida , who makes sure our classes and admin areas are clean and ready to rock and roll each morning .
Finally to all those who left us in the year , Rosales Martinez , Manager who left us In December 2015 ; Gayle Carr and Emma Davey who both worked as Volunteer Coordinators ; Jasmie Hashim who worked as our Refugee Support Services Coordinator ; Christian Gonzales who worked as relief cleaner and lit up the place with his smile and good nature . And Fabiola , our regular cleaner , currently on maternity leave .
