At FLN we are committed to providing volunteers with life-enhancing experiences where professionalism and ethical practice is valued and embedded in
all that we do. Through our programs students, volunteers, mentors and community members have a unique opportunity to meet, work alongside and
build relationships with each other and local residents who access our programs.
How can you help?
There are many ways you can get involved at FLN:
Classroom support for our Adult English Language (EAL) Classes and Adult Computer Classes (workday hours only)
Working as tutors/mentors with students requiring additional support 1:1 or in small groups
Working on project teams to assist with the organisation of community events and pilot projects, fundraising and donations, media and marketing
projects and grant writing
Providing administrative support such as archiving, data entry, and filing
Corporate volunteer roles including skilled volunteers.
We also draw on the individual skills and expertise of our volunteers to help design new and interesting courses.
