There are many things in life that distract us. There are many conditions and circumstances that are beyond our control. Working out is a way of transforming the physical body and changing unhealthy patterns and habits to cultivate a fit, healthy body. Similarly, mindfulness is a way of transforming the mind to encourage and develop clarity, concentration and emotional positivity. With mindfulness techniques, we can change the patterns and habits of our mind to a positive way of being. Even the smallest amount of meditation helps reduce physical and emotional stress and helps us learn to manage our time more efficiently. While developing a regular, deep meditation practice can be quite transformative; mindful, meditative techniques can be applied anytime, anywhere.
