By Practicing Mindfulness and Meditation
"Make" time. However, busy
lifestyles can definitely make this a
difficult task. Fitting in your daily
workout may be almost enough to
"push you over the edge" of
available time. It seems we are
always running: work, gym, kids,
shopping, etc. In fact, constantly
being on the run is all the more
reason to find ways to incorporate
mindfulness throughout your day.

f you are reading this, chances
are you are interested in Health
and Fitness. A big part of physical
fitness is mindfulness. Mindfulness is
focusing your thoughts and
intentions. There are many things in
life that distract us. There are many
conditions and circumstances that
are beyond our control. By
practicing Mindfulness and
Meditative techniques, we can take
responsibility for our state of mind.
We have a choice every day of where
we want our focus to be.
Working out is a way of transforming
the physical body and changing
unhealthy patterns and habits to
cultivate a fit, healthy body.
Similarly, mindfulness is a way of
transforming the mind to encourage
and develop clarity, concentration
and emotional positivity. With
mindfulness techniques, we can
change the patterns and habits of
our mind to a positive way of being.
Even the smallest amount of
meditation helps reduce physical and
emotional stress and helps us learn
to manage our time more efficiently.
While developing a regular, deep
meditation practice can be quite
transformative; mindful, meditative
techniques can be applied anytime,
anywhere. Many people claim not to
have enough time to sit and
meditate daily. Of course, the real
"answer" to that is we all need to
