relieve stress, and may improve your
body's ability to produce mental and

fundamental to a properly functioning
central nervous system. Not only do they
help us deal with stress they help keep
our memory sharp and our nerves
functioning optimally.
Feeling the effects of calorie and sugar
overload?
Try one of our newest products: Life
Extension African Mango Irvinga. This
supplement provides a combination of
natural compounds that combat agerelated fat accumulation. Irvinga delays
the digestion and absorption of sucrose
and slows the absorption of dietary fat
from the intestines. In addition, it
moderates the glycerol-3-phosphate
dehydrogenase enzyme activity to reduce
the amount of ingested starches that are
converted to triglycerides and stored as
fat.
Indulging in a little too much holiday
“cheer?”
It's a wonder some of us have a liver left
come January! Help your liver fight back
with a daily dose of Now Foods Lecithin.
Lecithin is a naturally occurring
compound found in all cells in nature,
plant and animal. It plays a major role in
almost all biological processes - including
nerve transmission, breathing and energy
production. In addition, lecithin helps
the body utilize vitamins A, D, E and K
and is excellent for memory,
concentration and recall. It cleanses the
liver and kidneys and helps the body
absorb valuable nutrients.

estheticians help you decide.
How much down time will I have after
a chemical peel?
One of the biggest differences between
a PCA peel and a medical grade peel
that you might have in a doctor's office,
has to do with “down time.” With most
of our chemical peels you will have
little to no down time. At most, you
may experience very mild redness and
some minor peeling and flaking for 3 to
5 days.
Will chemical peels remove sun
damage?
The sun is the leading cause of fine
lines and wrinkles, and these can be
prevented with a healthy skincare
regimen. Chemical peels remove the
layer of skin that is affected by sun
damage to leave behind a fresh and
smooth layer.
Ask Margaret...
What about age spots?
Age spots can be difficult to hide under
makeup, but chemical peels can help
reduce pigmentation and even out your
skin tone.
Will a chemical peel help my acne?
If you're suffering from acne, a
chemical peel can be a valuable part of
your treatment program.
I hate my fine lines! Will a chemical
peel help get rid of them?
Chemical peels help greatly to reduce
the appearance of fine lines around the
eyes and mouth.
How long does a chemical peel take?
The entire peel process takes about 20
minutes. You will be in and out of the
spa in less than a half hour.
Is it painful?
No, you may feel heat, tingling, or
prickling sensations. The deeper the
peel you have the more activity you
may feel.
How much do they cost?
The prices vary somewhat depending on
exactly which formula is used and how
many “layers” are applied. Generally
most peels cost $160 per treatment
when purchased individually. However,
since most peel treatments are most
effective when completed in a series of
six peels with each peel spaced six
weeks apart, Incentives developed a
peel package to make getting your
peels even easier and more affordable.
When purchased in a package of 6 each
peel is discounted $20 a piece – that's a
savings of $120 for the series and in
addition you receive a FREE post peel
kit at your first appointment. The total
package is payable in full at $840 or
can be paid in four monthly
installments of $210.

Q. Now that the winter is upon us, what
changes should I make to my skin care
routine to keep my face looking its best.
A. Good question! The weather
outside may be frightful but
your skin doesn't have to
be!! For many people
winter brings unbearable
dryness and redness to
exposed skin. Cold
winds and indoor heat
cause irritation and
dehydration to the skin
causing fine lines to look

their worst! Here are five
recommendations that will
keep your skin moist and healthy through
the winter months.
1) Switch from a gel cleanser to a creamy
cleanser in cooler weather. Eminence has
several wonderful milky cleansers that
deliver clean, soft, and well hydrated
skin.
2) Consider switching to a more emollient
moisturizer and apply twice a day.
3) Add some serums to you routine. They
have smaller molecules than moisturizers
and penetrate deeper than your
moisturizer will. In winter I especially
love the Herbal Recovery Oil by
Eminence. It leaves your skin hydrated
and feeling dewy!
4) Keep applying sunscreen! Winter sun is
just as damaging for your skin as summer
sun and glare off snow can increase
damage.
5) Use humidifiers in your home.
Humidifiers put moisture into the air to
help prevent your skin from drying out. I
especially recommend them at night
while you are sleeping.
6) Monthly facials will gently remove dry
dead skin cells that clog pores and stop
products from penetrating. Soothing and
moisturizing treatments by eminence will
deliver hydration back to your skin to
keep you looking youthful and glowing
during those long winter months.
