It Was a Very Good Year

And so it was! As we
continue with our ongoing
celebration of the 30th
Anniversary of the
founding of Fitness
Incentive, the encomiums
continue to roll in. Thanks
to all who have shared
their reminiscences.

0 years ago, Janet
Kramer (now Lang)
introduced me to a
fun girl who dreamed of
developing a business
about a healthy lifestyle
through enjoyable exercise
and friendship. Over the
years, I have witnessed so
many people having so
much fun with their
dedication to fitness.
Fitness Incentive and its
owners, Corinne and
Kenny, have made this all
happen.
F.I .Training has been an
important part of my
growth. I remember
training with Susan Daniels
when I was just turning 40
and felt a need to jumpstart my workout. She
taught me how to be
focused and disciplined.
Remember having to
reserve a 30-minute spot
to get on a treadmill? And
what about the Spin (now
Cycle) room! It was a new
realm of exercise and F.I
was fully in the mix.
Years later, after the move
to our current home, I
began to train with Jen
DiPalma, who helped me to
learn how to incorporate
spiritual thinking into my
exercise activities and
taught me how to use
equipment correctly so I
could work out on my own.
My growth continued.
What I love about Fitness
Incentive is that Corinne
and Kenny are always
Mikhel Suarez
trying to find new ways to
keep it fresh, and that is
not easy. The Fit 4 Summer
Challenge has been an important part of
my routine…it helps me to “fit” in my
22
summer wardrobe! Not only did I train
with Eileen Jacinth during the contest,
but continued to work with her
throughout the following year. She has
been such an important part of my life.
If you haven't taken her Cycle class, you
have no idea what you're missing. I can't
thank her enough for all of the skills and
education she has provided to me and
my daughter, Emily. Emily is “nextgeneration,” and she is developing her
own attachments and favorites and is
enjoying her growth.
I love our classes…there are so many
alternatives. Kelly kicks my butt not
only in her Kickboxing class, but with the
amazing Jump and Drill classes she
created. There's something for everyone,
and should the body need a healthy
adjustment, Donna Brown is on the
scene. She takes care of me, Emily and
my husband.
Fitness Incentive: a “go-to” place with
“go-to” people…it is my “MY MORNING
CUP OF COFFEE”. I thank everyone for
being there for me, not only during the
good times but also the stressful tim \
