LETTER FROM THE
EDITOR
I don’t know about everybody else, but fishing has been
amazing this season! It’s also been quite the busy one
when you’re trying to fit in fishing, work, fishing, fishing,
ICAST and more fishing into your schedule...
Everyone here at Fishhound and Lucky Tackle Box
just left Orlando for the biggest toy show for anglers
anywhere... ICAST. I’m still trying to fit my tongue back
in my mouth after seeing all the crazy tackle, gear and
gadgets unveiled for the coming year. Don’t worry, we’re
not hogging the goods; You will definitely be seeing a ton
of new products we got to play with at ICAST in your
Lucky Tackle Boxes for this year and 2016!
Lucky Tackle Box has been growing strong this Summer
with the additions of the new Panfish and Inshore
Saltwater boxes, and the responses for you all have
been amazing! The bigger we get, the cooler stuff you’ll
see each and every month, and we couldn’t have done
it without the support that you all have given. You’ve
made us the #1 rated fishing subscription box on the
planet... and to show thanks, we’ve included a $5 Gift
Card to Monster Fishing Tackle!
We hope you enjoy this month’s edition of Fishhound
Magazine half as much as we did putting it together.
We are honored to have the legendary Patrick Sebile
grace our cover this month. In our cover story, we talk to
Patrick about his unique fishing life, his countless fishing
records and what it is like to start your own fishing tackle
company when every manufacturer out there said you
can’t make them that way.
There’s a whole lot more fishing tips, stories and even
a delicious peel and shrimp recipe to satisfy all of your
summer cravings in this issue, so enjoy reading!
We’ve also got some awesome stuff heading your way in
the coming months so stay tuned...
Stay cool and tight lines,
Justin Pakdaman
