MOSS LANDING – If
you want to catch a limit
of quality rockfish and
some big lingcod, the
Monterey County Coast is
the place to do it.
A trip aboard the
Kahuna on Saturday,
November 23, produced
260 rockfish and 8 lingcod
for 26 anglers, reported

Sportfishing. A bottomfish
adventure on November
21 yielded 200 rockfish,
while a trip on November
16 produced 150 rockfish
for 15 anglers.
Fishing for rockfish,
lingcod and halibut is
going good out of Santa
Cruz when the weather
cooperates with anglers.
“The swell came up
some today but the winds
stayed down,” said Todd
Fraser of Bayside Marine.
“There were some good
scores of crab in 150-
220 feet of water up the
coast and straight out.
The rockfish action was
good in the deep water
near Davenport. There
were a few lingcod caught
near Natural Bridges and Crabbers have been enjoying epic action off the central coast so far this
season while fishing aboard the Huli Cat!
