For more information, check out the California DFW website at www.dfg.ca.gov. Anglers experienced a superb kokanee salmon season this year at Lake Tahoe. The kokanee fishing continued for longer than normal this year right into early October. Dixie Romero of Monterey landed these two kokanee, along with three others, while trolling in Emerald Bay with Captain Donny Readinger of Tahoe Sportfishing on October 6.
