Trolling is doing fairly well especially in the backs of coves. If you want to hook catfish, try tossing out anchovies and chicken liver in the South Cove, Cowboy Cove and Oak Point. The latest plant of 1000 pounds of channel catfish went into the lake on August 27. Los Vaqueros is holding 145,438 acre feet of water, 91 percent of capacity.
