The striped bass fishing has been very
good in San Francisco Bay. For example,
the 24 anglers during a half day afternoon
trip aboard the Bass Tub on Friday, August
2, landed limits of bass while drifting bait
for an hour off Treasure Island. They also
checked in at the dock with two halibut.
Live bait drifting for halibut has been also
great, with recent trips aboard the Bass Tub
producing around two fish per rod at Seal
Rock, the North Bar and the Marin County
Coastline, said Anfinson.
