6 Aug 17 - 31, 2018 PRO’S POINTER “When I am fishing a frog or flipping matted vegetation, I am throwing the new X-TCB 8 Carrier Braided Line form P-Line. It is critical to be stealthy with both techniques, and with P-line’s new braid, you can make longer casts and it is ultra quiet com- ing through the grass.” – Bass Pro Bryan Thrift GO FOR IT! Uncle Larry’s Spinners teamed with dodgers tempt the sockeyes, while Speedy Shiners fool rainbows. SLEEPERS... 9. BODEGA ROCKFISH… The hardheads are feeding heavily. Shrimp flies are the top producer, but metal jigs and soft plastic swimbaits are working too. 10. COLLINS CATFISH… Whiskerfish as large as 12 lbs. have been landed by bait soakers. Liver, night crawlers and mackerel fillets are the baits of choice. 11. TAHOE COMBOS… Both mackinaw and kokanee are on the chomp. Minnows teamed with dodgers have been working for the macks while Wedding Rings and dodgers fool sockeyes. Scott Martin P-Line Pro-Staffer ~ 8-Time FLW Tour Winner 12. KLAMATH STEELHEAD… September should be a good month for steelhead. Conventional anglers will score with both roe and back trolled plug. www.P-Line.com P-Line Fihssniffer-Aug18.indd 1 8/6/18 9:10 AM
