On the day before, the Checkmate checked in with limits of rockfish and 3 lingcod for 24 passengers, while the Caroline had ¾ limits of rockfish and 27 lings for 25 anglers. “The fishing has been good for the inshore species,” reported Todd Fraser at Bayside Marine. “There were some quality halibut caught near 4 Mile Beach to Davenport in 50-90 feet of water. Rockfish action was also good in the deep water near Wilder Beach. The South Rock and Natural Bridges areas produced some quality rockfish and lingcod.
