Introducing... our playgroups
Mondays from 10-11.30am. There’s lots to keep little hands busy, including trains, cars, kitchen and play food and a whole village of small world toys. We also have a space for babies and a popular book corner. There’s an optional story time and a popular singsong at the end. Tea, coffee, biscuits and kids snacks are provided.
This term, we’ve hosted optional pottery painting and sand art sessions, and held our first Halloween party. Apples were bobbed and munched, biscuits were decorated in green and orange icing, and spooky sprinkles were liberally sprinkled. A sparkly turquoise ghost was the most popular face paint, and fantastic
fantastic efforts were made in the costume competition. We tucked into homemade ginger nuts and the chocolate and pumpkin brownies sold out. Thanks to all the little horrors who came along. Our next event will be our Christmas party on Monday 12 December, do join us for some festive treats and fun - a bearded guest is rumoured to be attending!
We’d love you to join us for a chat while the kids wear themselves out and make new friends. Many a friendship circle has grown from Happy Mondays, which has been especially important for parents moving to the area for the first time.
