Introducing...

Bumps & Babies

Wednesday - hump day, halfway through the week and what better way to spend it than with other parents, carers and lots of babies?

Bumps & Babies runs every week from 12.45-2.45pm, even in the school holidays. We have a fantastic venue for the group, the Neighbourhood Church on Cromwell Road in Beckenham. It's a lovely modern and relaxing space.

The group is only for babies from birth to crawling, so it's much calmer than your average playgroup. It's quieter and so easier to get to know other parents, and no worrying about rambunctious toddlers running about!

An area is created for the little ones to play and socialise, with activity mats and lots of different toys. The church has tables, a comfy chair and a highchair too, so all feeding needs are catered for. There is, of course, baby changing

available! There are teas, coffees, cake and biscuits for the adults too. All this for only a £1.50 donation.

I first joined the group when my daughter Bea was just 5 weeks old. It was great to get out of the house and meet other parents. Going to the group every week also helped me form a nice routine. I have met so many lovely people who I also now see outside of the group. Just being with other parents who are experiencing the same things as you at the same time is very reassuring. If you've had a tough night or want to swop tips it is a great environment to do this in.
