'First Words' is a quarterly magazine for parents of young children in Beckenham, Penge, Sydenham and West Wickham.
The magazine link is distributed through our webpage, through our Facebook page (which has a post reach of c4000), and to our mailing list of c1200 (from which c350 read our weekly eNewsletter, an engagement rate 10% above the average for non-profit organisations). In addition, we print 100 paper copies to distribute through our various groups and to post to new branch members.
Please note NCT Beckenham & Borders amalgamated with NCT West Wickham & District in mid 2016, so our reach now covers their households and playgroups. The West Wickham newsletter is no longer in production.
'First Words' is published by a team of committed volunteers working in their spare time. Advertising revenue pays for the production costs of the magazine and any surplus funds are used to provide support and services for local parents. NCT Beckenham & Borders is a non-profit making organisation.
