NCT Beckenham & Borders is run entirely by volunteers, mostly parents of young children. Our Branch Structure Diagram puts names to our volunteer roles, and an overview of what each involves can be seen on our website. A huge THANK YOU to all our volunteers.
One of the branch's longest serving volunteers, Mel Skinner, remains as our Breast Pump Hire Contact, but will be passing on the Valley Cushion Hire role. Many thanks Mel, and welcome to Nicole Beauchamp who will be taking this on going forward.

Big thanks to Catherine Foster, who has stepped down as Minutes Secretary due to a demanding work role. Luckily, she'll still be cracking us up with her wry wit as a Nearly New Sale volunteer.
Volunteering is a fantastic way to make new friends. It’s also a good way to keep your brain in gear and have something to put on your CV if you go back to work or change careers. Some roles require a few minutes a week whilst others need more commitment. Only core roles require NCT membership. Very few roles require attending monthly meetings if you do not wish to, as we communicate by branch email and through a closed Facebook group.
0ur volunteers are balancing young children, paid work, elderly parents and other volunteer roles. If they can squeeze it in, you might be able to too! Do let us know - we’d love to have you on the team.

At Easter, we were sorry to say goodbye to dedicated Happy Mondays Volunteer and super songmistress. Sarah Amandes, whose friendly smile will be sadly missed. We wish her and David all the best in their new home.
We're delighted that Donna Eames will begin sharing the role of Bumps, Babies & Beyond Coordinator. A former Baby Cafe volunteer, Donna is already a treasured member of the current BB&B volunteer A-Team and mum to the legendary Willow (the real boss of the playgroup!)
