You will need:

• Sticks

• Circle of cardboard

• Coloured wool

• Feathers

Always on the look out for something crafty for my boys and I to make together, I stumbled across this image on Pinterest. The twigs have been collected and I have a stash of wool and colourful feathers crying out to be used on something just like this. We are going to weave our wool through the twig teepee structure to create an awesome den for Spiderman and Batman to chill out in after a hard day of crime fighting. Tying the twigs at the top and then balancing them over a small cup is going to be the best way to avoid frustration!

You will need:

• Woodland treasure!

This activity is free, easy and will get you all outside! First, go for a walk with your little people, gathering any interesting bits and pieces that you come across. Try to go for things that plants and animals aren’t using any more – fallen leaves, pine cones, feathers and empty snail shells, for example. When you have a nice stash, invite the children to arrange all their treasures into pictures. You’ll be surprised by what they come up with!
