Lisette Blanchett-Ball is a qualified NCT Antenatal and Postnatal Practitioner who has started up our new Postnatal Drop-in. She is deeply passionate about providing an accessible postnatal service and the popularity so far shows there is certainly a local need. Lisette is running the group on a voluntary basis at present and is supported by trainee Postnatal Teacher, Emma Mould. If you could volunteer to help, please call Lisette on 07505 305297.

After some trepidation, we’re delighted to be keeping the unruffle-able (at least on the surface!) Shenay Manzi as our Nearly New Sale Coordinator. It would be great to get some regular faces on the Nearly New Sale Team; this is a social role, and only quarterly so might suit those who cannot commit to regular tasks. If you could help, please contact [email protected].

Welcome to the lovely Michelle Elaawar who will be sharing the role of Bumps, Babies & Beyond Coordinator. Michelle always seeks out new attendees feeling shy, and is a fantastic advocate for the playgroup.

After two years with the branch, Erica Harris is stepping down. She reignited our Bumps & Babies group and has supported the branch in various ways including as a Baby Cafe Volunteer and proofreading this magazine. A one-woman volunteering machine, Erica is currently a Peer Supporter with the Breastfeeding Network, takes calls on the National Breastfeeding Helpline, has been involved in various perinatal and child development research projects, and is on the local Maternity Services Liason Committee. She's pursuing further volunteering in perinatal mental health. And raising a toddler!

We would love to hear from you if you are interested in supporting Tamsin as Deputy Treasurer.

The Volunteer Okey Cokey We wouldn't be here without you!

NCT Beckenham & Borders is run entirely by volunteers, mostly parents of young children. Our Branch Structure Diagram puts names to our volunteer roles, and an overview of what each involves can be seen on our website. A huge THANK YOU to all our volunteers.

We bid a sad farewell to Happy Mondays Volunteer, Stella Attar, whose guitar and cheery grin brought such fun to the singsong. Thank you! A special mention to Rachael Farrimond, back helping out at HM just weeks after baby no4!
