Silicone pumps are good for relieving engorgement, and for catching the let down from the other breast - so you never need to waste a drop! And all this comes at a fraction of the price of the most commonly used manual and electric pumps.

Many mothers who find their manual or electric pumps difficult or uncomfortable to use have told us that they really like a silicone pump now they've tried one.

Expressing your breast milk can be an arduous and demoralising task if your milk supply is low and you’re trying to get breastfeeding established. But help may be at hand-s-free!

A soft silicone breast pump uses natural sucking force to extract milk from the breast by collecting the milk rather than pumping the breast or dragging on the nipple. By squeezing the air out of the pump before attaching it to the breast, a natural vacuum pressure is created to enable milk to be drawn gently from the breast.

As the pumps consist of one single piece of silicone, they are easy to clean and sterilise, with no assembly required. Lightweight and portable, they require no electricity or batteries and hold up to 100ml. They enable you to collect your milk hands-free and silently, while breastfeeding from the other breast. You can attach a silicone pump to each breast and collect milk whilst doing something completely unrelated.

A less invasive way to express your milk?

“Was reluctant as to how good this could be as often times the reviews seemed too good to be true. Then I tried the pump myself. Wow. Better than expected. It does the trick of getting the milk out, it's obviously silent, very easy to use and easy to clean. I might end up not using my electric pump anyway since this one is so easy to use. Fab item would recommend to anyone.”
