Zoe says: "Having children brought about an amazing opportunity to leave primary school teaching and start my own sewing and craft party business. I now have the best of both worlds - a family life and a job I love that fits around the school run."

Liz says: "I had always intended to return to my career as a Statistician at the end of maternity leave, but reduced hours wasn't a realistic option and I wanted to spend more time with my son than breakfast and weekends. So, when he was 9 months, I retrained to combine my love of maths and learning, becoming a Kumon Instructor, providing tuition to children in maths and English."

Nicky says:

My youngest was

9wks when I

delivered a storytelling

workshop to a group of Reception children. I'd been a professional actor for 12yrs before working an office job for the last 8yrs. I wanted to be creative again. I didn’t start up Little Storytellers for another 18mths but was inspired by my elder children’s Montessori preschool and observing their play. Little Storytellers encourages children to have fun in a safe environment, use their imaginations and creativity to explore different worlds and build confidence. I use play, drama games, songs, puppets, costumes and masks to strengthen listening skills and collaboration with others.
