Real talk and support from other mums

Mindful Mums can provide a space to talk about the real stuff when it comes to being a mum (and that includes the highs and lows of breastfeeding and juggling the demands of this new life). Mindful Mums isn’t professionals talking at pregnant women and new mums. Groups are led by volunteer women with personal experience of pregnancy and motherhood, who have been recruited and trained by local charity, Bromley & Lewisham Mind.

Take your babies and other children along with you

Mindful Mums groups take place in local children’s centres so crèche facilities are available on a first come, first serve basis for babies and children from 3 months to 5 years old. Young babies can be brought into groups with support from a Support Worker available.

117 women attended Bromley Mindful Mums groups last year – one of them said:

“The ladies [leading the groups] were absolutely fantastic!!! They are skilled, patient, understanding and friendly.”
