9. DON’T BE A KANCHEONG SPIDER Commonly spotted traits:

- Sudden hand gestures or fidgeting;

- Keep adjusting your shirt / collar / sleeves

- Pointing the laser pen all over the screen or stage

- Flipping slides too early / too late / wrong slides

- Clearing throat over the microphone

- Breathing in/out too loudly

- Talks too fast

10. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE – Ask your colleagues to sit in during your practices and give you a frank review. Regular practices make you more competent and confident when you approach the podium.
