that men do wear a suit and tie and
ladies smart attire, during the day
smart casual, leave the jeans at
home.
Don’t be concerned about
finances they use Euros but if you
have a credit card that will be very
acceptable.
Journeys can be extended, they
can last from one to several days,
the most popular though is the
aforementioned London to Venice
and it takes 3 days with one day
spent on board.
One item that does worry people is their luggage, especially if you are going
to do something afterwards perhaps like a cruise or a holiday. There are
luggage racks in the cabin but space is limited per passenger to one suitable
piece of hand luggage, suit carrier or overnight bag. You can take suitcases
but they are stored in the baggage car and will not be accessible until you
reach your destination.
Without doubt the Orient Express is one
of those must do on your Bucket List.

Seats on the Orient Express have never been cheap, but then again it is a
holiday of a lifetime, and I should budget in the region of at least £2,000 per
person for the sojourn.
