SERENDIPITY
When we heard that a real , bona-fide general store , was at last open around the corner , we all clamored out of the office and scampered on over to Serendipity Market & More . Upon arrival , we were greeted by gorgeous spreads of fresh , local produce neatly arranged in baskets ; organic snacks and treats ; and everyday grocery items like band-aids , wrapping paper and our ( completely unbiased ) favorite , Old Bay !
However , the greatest part of our visit was hearing about all of their ideas for the future . We saw their big , beautiful deli counter and were told that they will make sandwiches , soups and salads for lunchtime and pre-made dinners for those of us who just want one ( or seven ) nights off from cooking . They ’ re also going to launch an online ordering process so you can order groceries from work and then swing by to pick them up on your way home . Our great tour guide even told us about an art gallery that will open in the back of the store to support our amazing local art scene . They already have a few applicants for their gallery !
Serendipity isn ’ t even close to being done with their ideas , and as of right now , they are top secret , BUT , we ’ ll tell you to keep your eyes peeled because it ’ s going to be incredible .
