forest crop species, Dendrocalamus strictus and four agricultural crop species which are Cocos nucifera matag (matag coconut tree), Ipomoea

batatas (sweet potato), Zingiber oficinales (ginger) and Curcuma longa (Turmeric).

All the species will be planted in the same year since the land provided is a bare land with nothing left on the site. The cycle for harvesting the crops is every 8 months for ginger, turmeric and sweet potato; annually for coconut (after 3 years of establishment) and every 6years for bamboo. Then, every 18 years, the land will go through clearcut stage where it is the last year for the

coconut of the first planting batch will be cut off

together with bamboo of the third cycle of

harvesting. The land will then get assess

for treatment before the next

planting project.
