Bring on the insults to L’Oreal, to Beyonce, to her photographers. Whoever. Again, this is something that may have been overblown a bit - the release of photographs before editing. Before this, you’d think people actually believed the pictures we see in magazines aren’t retouched. News flash people! You have to be retouched! If not, you will get attacked like Iggy! Well, just like that cellulite was too much for some - so is all that airbrushing because now we aren’t showcasing a “real” woman… and it’s sending the wrong message to young girls out there… and we should be seen just they way we are because we are all beautiful just the way are… and blah, blah, blah. (For the record, I think Beyonce looks amazing pre-digital touch up.)
So, you can be candid - and lose that battle because you don’t look “perfect”, or you can take the photoshopped route, and also lose that battle because you weren’t “perfect” to begin with.
Iggy, Beyonce and every other female with cellulite and blemishes - until someone’s negative opinion of you pays your bills, their opinion doesn’t matter.
