SANTA’S GROTTO AND WINTER WONDERLAND
AT WYEVALE GARDEN CENTRE
A visit to Santa’s Grotto is the highlight of every child’s pre-Christmas
experience and something they will remember through life. As grown ups
and with children of their own it is something they will want to do as a
family. For them it recaptures that moment of childhood innocence. It is a
ritual repeated across the world as nations prepare to celebrate Christmas.
And here in Hereford, Lions Club has kept this wonderful tradition alive
for three decades with their popular Grotto in partnership with Wyevale
Garden Centre on King’s Acre Road which opens on November… and will
be welcoming families every weekend, Saturday and Sunday from llam to
4pm right up to Christmas.. And it is free, but families may want to make a
donation to the Lions Charity Fund to help local charities and that is much
appreciated. Or they can buy a raffle ticket to win lots of festive goodies.
Every penny goes to support charity projects. Reading Festive News will
demonstrate just how well your contributions are spent.
On your way to meet Santa in his Grotto you wander through an amazing
winter wonderland full of animated polar bears and penguins, just like it is
at the North Pole. The kids will love it. Teas and breakfasts with Santa,
including gifts can also be booked direct with the
Wyevale Garden Centre restaurant.
Don’t forget to take a photograph of your child
telling Santa what is on their present wish list for
Christmas. Its one for the family album.
The photographs remind us of all the children
who met and chatted to Santa last Christmas, and
he is looking forward to seeing you all again this
year.
