Rose Heggie has been one of Hereford Lions Club’s top supporters for over 30 years and the club has
recognised her long and loyal support with a Certificate of Appreciation presented to her by former
president Colin Smith. She is a regular on the catering team at Lions Club fundraising events.
Rose has always been a stalwart of the community, especially as a member of the front of house
teams for the Hereford Musical Theatre and the city Gilbert and Sullivan groups, and the County
Farm Women’s Club. Her late husband Charles founded the family Heggies butchers firm.
