Rangoli is an
intricate Indian
art form.
Rangoli patterns are made on the floor, often
outside front doors or in living rooms, using
coloured rice, sand, flour, and even flower
petals. In addition to being a festive decoration,
rangoli designs are a symbol of welcome and
are believed to bring good luck. Rangoli designs
can be simple or incredibly elaborate, and we’ve
included both in the following pages.
