Tasman Jude playing at Wednesday Evening Concert Series LIVE MUSIC The Spring concert season rounds up with the two fantastic indoor shows: Ken Hamm is a staple of the Canadian blues scene and a gifted Delta blues metal guitar player. Catch him on May 1. Returning by popular demand, The Slocan Ramblers close out the season on May 8. These rising stars are heroes on the bluegrass circuit and bring a lively, toe-tapping show that is a hit with all ages. Both concerts: doors open at 7:30pm, tickets online at Eventbrite or from The Arts Station. The Wednesday Concert Series returns to Station Square July 4th for 9 dates, ending August 29. Each free evening performance begins at 6:30pm with support acts from local DJs. BC- beverage garden, food trucks and kids tent open from 5:30pm. Local artwork will also be on display throughout the summer. Artist Laura Nelson, Dumpster Project community. At this live painting weekend, artists will prep dumpsters and start painting on the evenings of Thursday and Friday, with pop-up DJs building the atmosphere. The main event is on Saturday from 4-9pm with a beer tent, DJs, kids crafts, and chance for all to join in painting the community Dumpster.
