Take a totally awesome trip back to December 1987 where feathered hair and Pac Man reign supreme and love and angst were in the air! Watch for more theatrical shows throughout the season, including Conviction: A Radio Play on Feb 15th & 16th, and a Griz Days Theatre Show on March 1st. through March. The program includes a full day of creativity for kids aged 5-12 from 9am-4pm, (advance registration required, $50) followed by an afternoon or evening arts activity for adults (registration varies, see website for details.) The foyer gallery features a series of temporary exhibitions by local artists, with free opening receptions held on the last Thursday of every month. Shows remain on display for approximately four weeks. Throughout December, enjoy the creative colour of Joey Kosolofski. Liza Gareau-Tosh: A Wonderous Whole opens Jan 3rd, Alysha Clarke: Reflection of Spring on January 31st, Troy Bubba Cook: Rabbit Dreams of the Shapeshifter on Feb 28th and Jocelyn Mudry: Touch Stones on March 28th. Throughout the winter, live concerts at the Arts Station present the kind of musical talent that musicians love to listen to, including The O’Pears on December 17th, Ryan McMahon of Lion, Bear Fox on Jan 20th, Craig Cardiff on February 2nd and Slocan Ramblers on March 24th.
