but quickly lean on God ’ s unconditional love and know that no form of sexy could ever validate you . Many times we think sexiness is just a part of who we are . The truth is no we are naturally just beautiful . We are just naturally the way God created us . The sexy factor is not our identity nor does it make us any more of a woman . Our true identity is in Christ and sexiness does not have to be a part of it . When we identify with something it begins to be reflected in our everyday life . If we identify with working out and a healthy lifestyle it will quickly show up in our eating habits and weekly routines . Same with sexy if we continue to identify with sexy , we then will see sexy show up when making the decision of what to wear , how to do our makeup , or how people view us . Breaking up with sexy opens us up to a new awakening experience .
Experiencing Your True Beauty
Now , for many of us we don ’ t even know where to start . So let me help you . I personally would always wear tighter fitting clothes that would reveal my curves and my shirts would always be lowcut . At the time , I seriously thought it was just my sense of fashion , but when I truly checked my motives they were far from God . There was little to do with God or for the betterment of His Kingdom . Sadly , it was about me and what made my ego feel better . So I know firsthand about breaking up with sexy and it is a daily challenge at first to make conscious decisions regarding the clothes you wear , but eventually you will see all the freedom you have now from no longer living under the requirement of sexiness . You will begin to acknowledge that no matter your clothes or sense of fashion you are only worthy and qualified through God . Muslim women wear Hijabs a covering over their heads and chest from anyone other than close family and friends . This for many muslim women is a choice and to show modesty and reverence to their God . Although , we may differ in beliefs , something we can learn from them is their outward expression of their faith , and their openness to cover up themselves regardless of social standards . To prefer to be modest , hidden , and set apart , instead of attempting to entice their fellow man .
However , Christ is not focusing on our clothes , but the content of our heart . What is our heart reflecting when we decide to go for sexy ? And are we glorifying God , or self ? Understanding the heart concept then we can find new ways to feel beautiful without desiring to be sexy . We can find new fashion trends and our own unique style to make chic and modest . There are many ways to where you can still feel beautiful without desiring to be sexy . God says we are wonderfully and fearfully made . When we acknowledge that our beauty , our worth , our pureness is all in God then we will no longer need external factors to make us feel what God has already promised .
